We are a group of three women—Omila, Kylie, and Robin—who, united by our passion for sustainable dyeing, have come together in Australia. Our journey began with a shared commitment to using natural dyes derived from the rich bounty of nature.
- Our focus lies in the abundant Eucalyptus forests of Australia, home to over 700 species. With a history of traditional uses by Aboriginal Australians, we honor this heritage by harnessing the natural beauty of eucalyptus leaves and bark to create vibrant, colorfast dyes for textiles.
- At OKRe, we are dedicated to minimal chemical usage and sustainable practices, ensuring that we gather nature’s gifts without harming local flora. Our creations include scarves, wraps, clothing, and other textile products that capture the essence of these beautiful materials.
